ABOUT THIS WINE
As a result of the common thinking, the Szekszárd Bottle was born, which can only be filled with the outstanding wines of the Szekszárd wine region, the Szekszárd bull’s blood, Kékfrankos and Kadarka. The wines are selected on the basis of blind tasting, thus ensuring that the wines with a characteristic varietal or wine-style character are produced.
The aroma is ripe forest fruit and some spiciness, sip-rounded tannins and an exciting acidity that simply make this wine great.
How it is made?
After thorough sorting and careful processing, the blue grape must must be fermented in a steel tank. Some of it was aged in Hungarian oak barrels for 12 months.
We are proud that our Lajver Kékfrankos won a gold medal at the Berliner Wine Trophy international wine competition in 2022.
