ABOUT THIS WINE
It smells like as if it was merlot, one may think; a little forest fruit, a hint of flowers, slightly sprinkled with spices. Everything is proportionate. Everything is in order. There is no exaggeration in a sip either, the plum-blackberry fruitiness is not suppressed by the sweet-spiced barrel, the acids pump enough vitality; you feel tannin, but the whole sip is taken off your feet softly and with a dash of velvet. At the end, the last sip of plums and cherries bounce back little wryly, but it just encourages you to begin again; surely even a sip of velvet doesn’t hurt anyone.
How is it made?
Manual bunch- and then berry selection. Alcoholic fermentation in a stainless steel tank in a reductive space. Maturation for 12 months in oak barrels.
