ABOUT THIS WINE
In the bottle you will find the salt-of-the-earth of Szekszárd. In 2012, everything came together to make fantastic wines. This year, the bottles, which had been protected like the most precious jewel, has been unpacked, tasted, and re-bottled. It reached a climax because we did everything at the best moment. Limited, uniquely numbered Lajver wine, for real connoisseurs!
Bull Blood (Bikavér) made from Kékfrankos (blue franc), Merlot, Kadarka and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown with limited yields.
A full-bodied, deep ruby-coloured wine in which fruitiness and spiciness blend nicely.
How was it made?
After fermentation in steel tanks, it was aged for 12 months in first-filled American oak barrels by variety. We blended the best of the matured wines and then left them in a bottle for 20 months.
